Riley | Senior Session

The Country Girl

I love getting to know seniors. Everyone is so unique. They are coming into their own, and many have found a hobby, passion, or have a life goal that can translate into props for their session. Personal touches like that can take a senior session to another level. Miss Riley brought them in spades - from her guitar, boots, Miss Me jeans, pretty tops, and brown leather chair. Riley's sweet momma comes from farming roots in Iowa. Riley herself has grown up loving that country lifestyle and plans to end up in Nashville one day. She loves country music and writing songs (although she didn't play me any! haha).

Funny story - When Riley and I were talking about things she wanted to incorporate in her session, she really wanted a truck, but didn't have one. While we were on site, this big truck rolled up, and prompted took a nosedive into a muddy ditch. One back wheel popped up high off the ground, and we thought it was going to flip! Well, when your wishes are magically answered, you waste no time taking advantage, so here we have Riley with a truck!

Did I mention Riley is an FFA girl? Meet her goat, Nash! She takes a 5 am bus up to the barns every morning to take care of him. That's dedication. When I was a teenager, I loved my sleep, but imagine all the pretty sunrises. That sky looks like it's on fire.
