One of my favorite people in the whole world - my son's 1st grade teacher - once took a photo of him on an important day when I couldn't be there. She emailed it to me, with a note saying she knows photos are my love language. In that moment, it was like I was blanketed with warm fuzzies - she 100% got me! I love communicating and story-telling through photography. Being able to share meaningful, authentic photos with others truly fills my bucket, and I hope I can do the same for you!

1. I'm obsessed with a good down comforter. 
    

2. I run on Diet Coke. While I don't drink hot coffee, I love a Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino® or a big bowl of coffee ice cream.
    

3. My family includes my sports fanatic hubby who works in the oil industry and also refs football; my two awesome boys, ages 5 and 9. We have a dog, Dempsey. We keep busy!
    

4. I am a night owl. When the rest of the household is tucked away in bed and you can hear a pin drop - that is when I do the bulk of my editing and creative work. In fact, it's nearly 2 am as I write this.
    

5. Call me a "scaredy cat," but I can't handle roller coasters, thriller movies, etc ... even that swinging caterpillar kiddie ride at Sea World gave me white knuckles. Yet somehow, my sweet husband convinced me to try zip lining on our honeymoon. Love makes you do funny things.
    

6. My all time favorite song is "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, and I've also gotten really into the version by Pentatonix. You can bet I WILL belt it out shamelessly in the car along with my kids.
    

7. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher.
    

8. I'm a Houston native, and I love the variety of family friendly adventures this city has to offer. That being said, if I could pick anywhere in the world to live, it would be somewhere with mountain views - or even better mountain + ocean views.
    

9. I enjoy having a vase of fresh flowers on the table because it reminds me of my sweet grandma who always had a beautiful bouquet displayed - often gladiolus.
