Danielle amazes me. She is so many things! She is a mom and a wife with a passion for butterflies, a Colorado girl turned Texan, an IT professional on the weekdays, and an entrepreneur with a soap business by weekend. What she is not, though, is a fan of having photos taken.
Recently, she was asked to speak at a conference, and when they asked for her bio and headshot, she realized the headshot she had was not only close to 10 years old, but it was also low resolution. They wanted to plaster her photo on a big wall at the conference, so that wasn't going to cut it.
Danielle told me her concerns, and asked me to work my "magic." We braved freezing temps for the shoot, but we had some gorgeous light and some good laughs. We even found a sculpture of monarch butterflies - Danielle's favorite - to take her photos with. We were able to not only get some shots that were "exactly what [Danielle] hoped for" for her conference, but also some cool shots of her with her beautiful soaps. I wish you could smell how wonderful they are through the screen.
